#3377
- The
following technique, giving the appearance of translucency, is to be
done on properly fired cone 04 bisqe, for best results.
- Apply
4 coats of a mixture of #
415 Marshmallow that has been tinted with a small amount of #416
Thunder Cloud (approximately 5/1).
- The
inside portion of the ears and nose are 3 coats of a 50/50 mix of
#421 Flamingo and #422 Peaches & Cream.
- Paint
the eyes 3 coats of #413 Pacific Blue.
- The
whiskers, pupil and eyelashes are 3 coats of #401 Licorice.
- Place
a highlight in the eyes using a drop of #415 Marshmallow.
- Allow
time for the paint to dry. Carefully
apply a coat of GL 100 Ultra Clear Glaze; careful to not “open”
the colors that you have applies.
Follow with a second coat of the Ultra Clear Glaze.
- Fire
to directions on label.

- The
following technique, giving the appearance of translucency, is to be
done on properly fired cone 04 bisqe, for best results.
- Antique
the entire piece with # 415 Marshmallow that has been tinted with a
small amount of #417 Hot Fudge (approximately 4/1). When you are antiquing, you can thin this mixture down
with a bit of water, if necessary.
Apply paint to entire piece and remove with a wet sponge.
Be sure to leave a bit of the color in the crevasses to
create shadows. Use
fresh water to make the white areas as light as possible.
- The
inside of ears, are a 50/50 mixture of #421 Flamingo and #422
Peaches & Cream.
- Refer
to photo and paint the black areas with 3 coats of #401 Licorice.
The orange areas are 3 coats of a mixture of 3parts #414
Orange Sherbert and 1 part #407 Cinnamon.
- The
nose, outline of the mouth, whiskers and eyelashes
are 3 coats of #401 Licorice.
- Allow
time for the paint to dry. Carefully
apply a coat of GL 100 Ultra Clear Glaze; careful to not “open”
the colors that you have applied.
Follow with a second coat of the Ultra Clear Glaze.
- Fire
to directions on label.

- The following technique, giving the appearance of translucency, is to be done on properly fired cone 04 bisqe, for best results.
- Antique the entire piece with # 415 Marshmallow that has been tinted with a small amount of #417 Hot Fudge (approximately 4/1). When you are antiquing, you can thin this mixture down with a bit of water, if necessary. Apply paint to entire piece and remove with a wet sponge. Be sure to leave a bit of the color in the crevasses to create shadows. Use fresh water to make the white areas as light as possible.
- The pads of the paws and inside of ears, are a 50/50 mixture of #421 Flamingo and #422 Peaches & Cream.
- Paint the eyes 3 coats of #412 Kiwi.

- Place
a highlight in the eyes using a drop of #415 Marshmallow.
- Allow time for the paint to dry. Carefully apply a coat of GL 100 Ultra Clear Glaze; careful to not “open” the colors that you have applied. Follow with a second coat of the Ultra Clear Glaze.

done on properly fired cone 04 bisqe, for best results.
- Brush
on 3 coats of #408 Toffee, that has been tinited with 1 part #414
Orange Sherbert. With
a damp sponge wipe color away from muzzle area, pads of his paws,
the eyebrow and eye area and the inside of the ears.
- Apply
2 coats of stripes using #407 Cinnamon.
- Apply
3 coats of #412 Kiwi to the eyes.
- The
pads of the paws are a 50/50 mixture of #421 Flamingo and #422
Peaches & Cream.
- The
nose, outline of the mouth, whiskers, eyelashes and pupils are #401
Licorice..
- Place
a highlight in the eyes using a drop of #415 Marshmallow.
- Allow
time for the paint to dry. Carefully
apply a coat of GL 100 Ultra Clear Glaze; careful to not “open”
the colors that you have applied.
Follow with a second coat of the Ultra Clear Glaze.

- The

Blend 1 coat of this color above the Hot Fudge portion of the

Flamingo and #422 Peaches & Cream.
- Paint
the eyes 3 coats of #413 Pacific Blue.
- The
nose, whiskers, pupil and eyelashes are 3 coats of #401 Licorice.
- Place
a highlight in the eyes using a drop of #415 Marshmallow.
- Allow
time for the paint to dry. Carefully
apply a coat of GL 100 Ultra Clear Glaze; careful to not “open”

- Apply 3 coats of #416 Thunder Cloud to entire piece. Using a damp sponge, refer to photo and remove paint to make light areas. You may need to wipe the lighter areas a couple of time to get a lighter affect.
- The pads of the paws and inside of ears, are a 50/50 mixture of #421 Flamingo and #422 Peaches & Cream.
- Paint the eyes 3 coats of #412 Kiwi.
- The nose, outline of the mouth, whiskers, eyelashes and pupils are 3 coats of #401 Licorice.
- Place
a highlight in the eyes using a drop of #415 Marshmallow.
- Allow time for the paint to dry. Carefully apply a coat of GL 100 Ultra Clear Glaze; careful to not “open” the colors that you have applied. Follow with a second coat of the Ultra Clear Glaze.
