To cone 04 Bisque:
Snowman Tea Bag Holder, Mold # 3369
  • Antique snow portion #413 – Pacific Blue.  Be sure to leave some of the color framing out the face and in the crevasse.
  • Antique the scarf and hat #401 – Licorice.
  • Apply 3 coats of #404 – Blueberry to the hat.  Once the paint has dried completely, you can do a “buffing” type technique with soft cotton material and remove some of the paint to give the hat an aged look.
  • Apply 3 coats each of #410 – Grape and # 420 - Dark Turquoise to the scarf.  Working with the grain, create a stripped pattern.  You can either leave this on, or polish the color off, as was done on the hat.
  • The ear muffs are 3 coats of #404 – Lemon Meringue Pie.
  • The carrot nose is 3 coats of #414 – Orange Sherbert.
  • The eyes and mouth are 3 coats of # 401 – Licorice. Apply a dot of #415 – Marshmallow as a highlight for the eyes.
  • Allow the piece to dry well, and then apply 2 coats of #GL- 100 Clear Glaze.
  • Fire to Cone 06.
Santa Face Tea Bag Holder, Mold # 3370
  • Antique the hair, beard and eyebrows with #416 – Thunder Cloud.
  • Apply 4 coats of #422 – Peaches & Cream to the flesh area.
  • Apply 4 coats of #406 - Black Cherry to the hat.  Use this color to pounce on Santa’s rosy cheeks, as well.
  • Apply 2 coats of # 404 – Blueberry to his eyes.  The pupils are #401 – Licorice, with a highlight applied with the end of a stylus in #415 – Marshmallow.
  • Allow the piece to dry well and then apply 2 coats of #GL – 100 Clear Glaze.
  • Fire to Cone 06.

Pinecone Tea Bag Holder, Mold #3371.
  • Apply 2 coats of #417 - Hot Fudge to the entire piece.  Wipe back a bit of the color with a damp sponge.
  • Apply I coat of #402 – Root Beer to the entire piece.  Again, wipe away a small amount of the color to expose the detail of the pinecone.
  • Allow the piece to dry well and then apply 2 coats of #GL – 100 Clear Glaze.
  • Fire to Cone 06.

Christmas Tree Tea Bag Holder, Mold # 3368
  • Apply 2 coats of #411 – Deep Pine.  Allow to dry then lightly wipe with a damp sponge to show the detail of the tree.
  • For a different look, you could antique the piece with #417 - Hot Fudge.  Follow with 1 coat of #420 – Dark Turquoise, then 1 coat of #411 – Deep Pine.  Wipe back to expose detail.
  • Allow the piece to dry well and then apply 2 coats of #GL – 100 Clear Glaze.
  • Fire to cone 06.
